I am a PhD fellow in Environmental Humanities at the Greenhouse, University of Stavanger.

My research is about ocean energy. Specifically, I compare the ways in which energy companies, scientists, and artists engage with the ocean/oceans. 

 

In 2023, I was a visiting researcher at the University of Glasgow. In 2024, I am a visiting researcher at Aoyama Gakuin University.

I was educated accross various universities and disciplines. I hold cum laude degrees in Language and Culture Studies and Cultural Analysis, and have studied at Utrecht University, UC Berkeley, University of Amsterdam, and New York University.
