I am a PhD fellow in Environmental Humanities at the Greenhouse Centre for Environmental Humanities at the University of Stavanger. I am also the editorial assistant for the journal Environmental Humanities.
My research is about ocean energy. Specifically, I compare the ways in which energy companies, scientists, and artists engage with the ocean/oceans.
In 2023, I was a visiting researcher at the Infrastructure Humanities Group at the University of Glasgow. In 2024, I was a visiting researcher at the Aoyama Gakuin University Environmental Humanities Forum.
I am excited about interdisciplinary, creative-critical resesarch, and I was educated accross various universities and disciplines. I obtained my cum laude degrees in Language and Culture Studies and Cultural Analysis from my studies at Utrecht University, UC Berkeley, University of Amsterdam, and New York University.
